This is a bit of an unofficial thread about this. However if you have a server implementation or client implementation that you are working on, that you want more attention directed at. Please post here, with a link to a thread with information about it, and hopefully one of the moderators can sticky the thread, and move it to the proper sub forum, until @Steve can get a sub-forum set up for the project if that is desired.

I think we all want to make finding various implementations easier. Also for the moderators, feel free to make a better version of this thread, or modify this one, to make it better, I just find that we are getting many questions about where to get various implementations, what implementations exist and so forth.

Ideally this would be given its own sub forum, under the server implementations section I think, that is however something only @Steve can do, but I have stickied your thread in this forum so it will be a bit easier to spot :)

Yeah think your right if he's going to take a bit more of a step back to do spin right as he's indicated (and rightly as that's his income) maybe there should be others with that power. If there are others with that power id love a sub forum

Thanks for creating this thread though it's a grate idea.

Yeah, though that power to create subforums is rather dangerous and I think if mistakes are made those are hard to fix, so I am not sure I would want that power personally, but I do want to try to make it as easy as I can for people to find information, I might try to deliver a poke on the newsgroup a bit later to see if Steve has time to check in here.

Nor would I want that power. Insert Spider-Man reference.

Getting Steve to check in would be nice but there will come a time we need more than Steve's limited time. A SQRL foundation was suggested to him in one of the OWASP talk he did I watched the video might not be right now but if SQRL gets big as it should management of the community will be needed

Poke delivered to newsgroup, not just to Steve but hopefully any developers that have not posted to the forum yet too. I hope that Steve won't be needed too often for the forum, I would like to offload some of the work for him. I mean I too want Spinrite and some of the other projects he is working on too, and I want SQRL to succeed :)

Did you ever get anything back from Steve on this? and did anyone come forward with any other server side implementations

That post on the newsgroup was quickly overrun by crickets mounted on tumbleweeds (no replies).

edit: though I suppose it might be because my choice for title was not great, or maybe I said something weirdly or badly inside the post, I can't really tell though. Also I did mention in the post that there was no rush for anyone to reply, so that might have been it :)

I did just read your post on the new group to me it looks fine but yeah the no rush might be it that fine I did notice will poking around the news group which I just don't enjoy doing that some people had asked about a .Net implementation I might contact Steve out of channel and see if he can update the SQRL page to point to my solution as the link he has is dead for a .Net implementation.

I also hope by opening this thread back up it gets some more submissions form other implementations I have noticed a growing group of people wanting a pure PHP implementation would be interesting to see who gets that done

I have this feeling that there is a bunch of projects being worked on silently, maybe slowly, since most people don't do the implementing of SQRL as their job, but on their spare time, and afk/rl can be awfully busy, like I think we all know.

I feel bad for not being more able to get code written these days, I would like to contribute in that way to SQRL, but I am seriously rusty at coding, so the best I can do right now is what I am currently doing, here, giving input where I can, and helping out when I can.

Also if I spot something really important here I can post it on the newsgroup and the opposite is true too, since I do check both places, though I think people who want to be fully informed would do best to get a newsreader client and also register on the forum and check both like I do, as they might not agree with me about what is important :)
