Just a note that we have a new forum to contain discussions relating to TechLiam's "SQRL for .Net" server-side middleware. You'll find it under "Server-Side Solutions."

Hi Steve,

first off, thanks for making the trip over to Europe to present SQRL recently. It was a pleasure to meet you in person after 15+ years of following Security Now!

In regard to the SSP ISAPI module, your page mentions this is available to 'interested developers'. I'm interested in utilising this. Can you point me to the download location?

Also, has anybody created a docker container for deploying this on Apache to date? Although not rocket science, setting this up on Apache will require a path somewhat less trodden given it's 32bit-only nature, and having a docker container would be a nice option for some, I expect. If not, I'll poke at that and see what falls out.

Thanks!

Steve's implementation is for Windows, and that is why he is not making it readily available for anyone. He delivers it as a Windows virtual machine image, which means potential licensing issues. It wouldn't really be suitable for Docker, I don't think.

Ah, thanks for the clarification PHolder, I wasn't certain on that point. In that case, are you aware of any other usable implementations for Linux users? I note a couple of Go-based implementations, but it is not clear these are stable for production use at this point.

Depending on your use case I created a .net core middleware that you could plugin to an apache asp.net core app

The middleware is here: https://www.nuget.org/packages/SqrlForNet/
The github page for this: https://github.com/TechLiam/SQRL-For-Dot-Net-Standard
Host ASP.NET Core on Linux with Apache: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/aspnet/core/host-and-deploy/linux-apache?view=aspnetcore-3.0

This could be dockerfied as well

Like a say might not be what you want but I consider it to be production ready and 1.1.0 will be out by Monday with the last bit of the SQRL spec (ASK messages) been implomented

If not then the WordPress Plugins PHP could be scraped out and used as a standalone I know one other person asked about that somewhere on here not long ago and that is definatly been used in semi production places

Hope some of that helped

I apologize for my tardiness with this. In general, I'm much less present here in the SQRL forums than in GRC's original NNTP newsgroups, though even there I've been absent until recently. At the moment I'm juggling too many competing priorities, but I'm making progress on multiple fronts, and I'm working to get to a place where I can focus upon SpinRite.

You, and anyone, can find the VM I originally created for Rasmus with any of these links. Note the differing archive format and size:

https://s3.amazonaws.com/media.grc.com/SQRL-Dev-Steve.Com-Win10-VM.zip Content-Length: 7094149355
https://s3.amazonaws.com/media.grc.com/SQRL-Dev-Steve.Com-Win10-VM.rar Content-Length: 6634448999
https://s3.amazonaws.com/media.grc.com/SQRL-Dev-Steve.Com-Win10-VM.7z Content-Length: 6473203851

While my implementation is tied to Windows, and is native 32-bit Intel code, it WILL also run as a ISAPI module in a 32-bit instance of Apache for Windows... if that's of any use. :)

Thanks, John, for your interest!!

This might cost you alot @Steve to host and my ~1MB/Sec download speed will take a while to get down but thanks for sharing this
